The Battery Atlanta® is one of the city’s most popular lifestyle destinations, offering year-round shopping, dining, and entertainment options, in addition to serving as the Atlanta Braves’ home with SunTrust Park. The 1.5-million-square-foot complex, which opened in 2017, has quickly become the go-to spot for sports and entertainment experiences. Designed for the community to live, work, play, stay, and cheer, the lifestyle hub features one-of-a-kind entertainment alongside dining, shopping, and engaging community events on The Plaza Green and Georgia Power Pavilion Stage.

Slide Into Home “Plates”

The open, outdoor layout of The Battery Atlanta sets the perfect scene for dining alfresco at one of the many chef-driven restaurants or walking up to service windows for a cocktail, beer, or wine. Gather friends to play life-size Connect Four or tailgate games on some of Atlanta’s best rooftop patios like  Punch Bowl Social or Live! at The Battery Atlanta. BURN by Rocky Patel offers a well-curated cigar selection alongside an extensive menu including crab cakes and gourmet pizzas.

The Battery Atlanta hosts concepts from some of the city’s most acclaimed chefs; from Atlanta icon Ford Fry’s “Mex-Tex” restaurant The El Felix and Linton Hopkins’ upscale dining room at C. Ellet’s Steak House to Hector Santiago’s lively El Super Pan and Giovanni di Palma’s coveted Gio’s Chicken Siciliana and Antico Pizza. There is an option for every palate with the destination’s diverse blend of American, Asian, Italian, Latin, and Mediterranean cuisines—from the soon to open PH’EAST Asian food hall to authentic New York deli food at Goldberg’s Fine Foods.

From date night to Sunday brunch and every occasion in between, The Battery Atlanta’s restaurants regularly offer special events throughout the week. Restaurants feature beer, wine, and beverages from around the world—choose from 100 beers on tap at Yardhouse, sample a wine flight at Cru Food & Wine Bar, or sip on an original cocktail from Garden & Gun Magazine’s Garden & Gun Club.

Cover Your Musical Bases

Atlanta’s iconic Coca-Cola Roxy joined The Battery Atlanta in April 2017. Hosting over 80 shows per year, the venue brings concert-goers to their feet with music from local, national, and international artists and bands. A new generation of fans can experience a variety of genres of music in the well-appointed split level, 3,600 person concert hall. The Coca-Cola Roxy is set to conclude its 2019 lineup with Louis The Child, Brett Eldredge: GLOW Tour, and Summer Walker—to name a few.

Dueling piano bar Park Bench is set to join the entertainment offerings in 2020, hosting acoustic acts in the afternoon, dueling pianos in the evening, and live bands into the late-night.

In Season: 365 Days a Year

Season after season, The Battery Atlanta serves up a diverse array of activities and special events for visitors of all ages.

Locals can get active at their signature Wellness Series events throughout the year. Outdoor Yoga by Kaiser Permanente and Pure Barre pop-up classes are regularly offered on The Plaza Green. Summer mornings are all about kids exploring new sports with free programs like United States Tennis Association’s (USTA) Tennis on the Turf on Tuesday mornings, agility training with Pepper Boxing on Wednesday mornings, or Golf Clinics with The First Tee. The Mizuno Experience Center connects runners and walkers for a monthly 2.5 to 5-mile fun run route around the complex. From spring to fall, stroll through the seasonal Farmers Market by United Healthcare to shop a variety of local fruits, leafy greens, and honey—and don’t forget to stop by the petting zoo for an up-close and interactive experience.

Holidays at The Battery Atlanta begin with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 23. The event is a family favorite with local performances and activities—as well as special appearances by Atlanta Braves’ mascot BLOOPER, an Atlanta Braves player, and, of course, Santa Claus and Papa Elf! Locals won’t want to miss Cobb County’s favorite free photo op with Santa at SunTrust onUp Experience, Thursdays through Sundays from November 21 through December 24.

To ring in the new year, the campus hosts its annual New Year’s Eve Bash at The Battery Atlanta presented by Xfinity with live performances throughout the night. The two-part event—Early and Late Innings—features an inflatable ball drop for families at 8pm and a traditional midnight firework display.

A Full Line-Up of Experiences

The new spot for an office team building or a night on the town, The Battery Atlanta is the one-stop spot to work hard and play harder.

Check off the ultimate Atlanta bucket list item at Live! at The Battery Atlanta by riding the mechanical bull. Buckle into virtual reality headsets and wireless backpacks for an untethered, fully-immersive journey into popular storyline worlds like Star WarsTM: Secrets of the Empire and Avengers: Damage Control at The VOID, or choose from five interactive adventures, including Prison Break, Special Ops: Mysterious Market, Gold Rush, The Heist, and The Playground at The Escape Game. Take a swing and be fitted for new sports equipment at the Mizuno Experience Center or step up to the plate at the SunTrust onUp Experience. Bowl a few rounds, play vintage arcade games, or sing a duet in private karaoke rooms at Punch Bowl Social. Compete in themed Trivia at Terrapin Taproom for a chance to win prizes (and indulge in some Fox Brothers Barbecue).

#ShopOn

Boutiques and flagship retail locations at The Battery Atlanta are more than just shops; they’re experiences.

Take an afternoon to relax with services like a manicure or pedicure at Lush Nail Bar or try a new style at Van Michael Men. Stop into Sugarboo & Co. or Omni Hotel’s South End Trading Company for charming home goods and Southern-style gifts. Shops like Select Shades and DressUp will brighten any day with trendy clothing and accessories at affordable prices. For truly unique baseball-inspired merchandise, look no further than Baseballism. Music lovers will rejoice at the diverse vinyl offerings at Waterloo Sunset, and soon you can satisfy your sweet tooth at River Street Sweets: Savannah’s Candy Kitchen.
