Navigating the world of skincare can be confusing. What should your daily routine include? What really works? Estheticians Amy Tecosky and Kelly Painter, who met while working at beauty and wellness collective Aviary, opened their new Grant Park studio with the goal of cutting through all the noise to give advice clients can use every day. (Because, as Tecosky says, “a facial’s not going to make a damn bit of difference if you’re not taking care of your skin at home.”) Kindred Studio skips grandiose claims and secret ingredients in favor of real talk and science-vetted products from lines like Joanna Vargas and Oway. Painter and Tecosky invite clients to bring their own skincare products to the studio for a careful analysis, complete with advice on what to toss and what to keep. Get started with the customized Kindred facial ($170, including optional microdermabrasion), which also provides a tailored at-home plan to maximize the treatment’s mileage. The hydrating, brightening Intraceuticals Oxygen Treatment ($150) yields more radiant skin before a big event. The studio also offers dermaplaning, waxing, and tinting for lashes and brows. 519 Memorial Drive, 404-431-4123, kindredstudioatl.com
