8Arm’s bar is fashioned out of a pink-neon-lit shipping container that opens onto a covered patio adorned with a disco ball. The architecture might be DIY and the vibe chill AF, but the beverage program is serious. Yes, the bar serves a handful of classic cocktails that change every day, but the most interesting thing about the drink menu are the vermouths and quinquinas and the adventurous wines. Speaking of the latter, 8Arm in September launched a natural wine bar in the part of the building (on the opposite side of the restaurant from the bar) that had housed its short-lived, custom-cocktail bar, Ink (RIP). All the more reason to camp out here—especially for the Wednesday specials that highlight women-made wine. 710 Ponce de Leon Avenue, 470-875-5856, 8armatl.com
