North Georgia College & State University
North Georgia College & State University serves as one of only six senior military colleges in the U.S. It is the second-oldest public institution of higher learning in Georgia and was the first to admit women. Specializing in leadership training and developing civilian and military leaders since 1873, North Georgia has been designated a leadership institution by the state Board of Regents. Two new residence halls added more than 950 beds in suite-style accommodations this year. A new dining hall will be completed by this fall.
