Gracepoint School, a Christian school in Marietta that works with dyslexic learners, now has more outdoor space where students can exercise, learn, and unwind. The new outdoor play area and classroom, constructed in the woods adjacent to the school parking lot, has a scenic running trail and seating for 50 students. The area is marked by a wooden cross that students have adorned with favorite verses and a 48-foot balance beam built as part of an Eagle Scout project. A second Scout project, currently underway, will add an archery range to the space to support the school’s new archery class. gracepointschool.org
