If you live in one of Atlanta’s northern suburbs and love Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, the Ohio chain that first landed here three years ago, we’ve got some good news for you. The company announced today that they are opening their fourth metro location next April in Avalon as part of the Alpharetta mixed-use development’s expansion. Also coming to Phase II: two hotels, a conference center, and several shops and restaurants, including Rumi’s Kitchen and MF Bar.
“We were honored to be asked to be a part of Alpharetta’s growing community, and think we’ll fit right in,” Jeni’s founder Jeni Britton Bauer said in a press release, and we’re inclined to agree with her—Avalon seems like a natural choice for the mega-popular shop. All three of its current locations are in similar trendy hot spots—the Westside Provisions Distirct, Decatur Square, and Krog Street Market—and all three have lines out the door on any given summer night.
