The TOUR Championship Cocktail Contest

The crowning event of the PGA TOUR will have more than just one champion in Atlanta this year, and you can get a taste of the glory!

The Kentucky Derby has its Mint Julep and The Masters its Azalea, so we think it’s only fitting that the TOUR Championship introduces its own signature drinks this year. Alongside Atlanta Magazine and Coca-Cola, we’re enlisting six of Atlanta’s favorite mixologists to face off throughout July to create its newest tournament cocktails—Calamity Jane and The Finale Fizz—using Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Maestro Dobel Tequila, the official vodka and tequila of the PGA TOUR.

The quest to create the TOUR Championship’s signature tournament cocktails continues this week as we kick off Round 2 of voting! Last week, Atlantans voted for their favorite recipes for The Finale Fizz and Calamity Jane from six mixologists across the city—and now four remain.

Choose the winning recipe for each drink by voting once each day until Friday at midnight. We’ll announce the cocktails with the most votes via Instagram Live on Monday, July 25 at 7 p.m. at a special event at East Lake Golf Club.

In the meantime, cast your vote below and grab tickets to the TOUR Championship from August 24-28 so you can get a taste of the glory this year at the event. Ready, set, GO!

*This list is not limited to the competition winners, however, we encourage you to read about all of these talented mixologists.

Calamity Jane

Mikal Yamini with KR Steakbar

I chose these ingredients in this way to pay homage to Bobby Jones and things he loved.

Alec Bales with Ticonderoga Club

This drink is for Bobby Jones and all the East Lake legends. Woven into Atlanta’s history is the story of its oldest golf course and its biggest hometown brand Coca-Cola.

Brendan Seery with UMI (Competition Winner)

The Calamity Jane is a cocktail that celebrates all these dimensions of Atlanta, the past, present, and future all together.

Finale Fizz

Vinnie Dugan with Bar Margot

When imaging a beverage evocative of the legendary Bobby Jones Golf Course, his instincts led him towards the bright flavors of a Paloma.

Maddie McIntosh with Jojo’s Beloved (Competition Winner)

Creating a cocktail that is meant to be enjoyed in summer weather on a golf course means choosing ingredients that are going to keep you cool and quenched.

Matt Watkins with The Deer and the Dove

The cocktail is refreshing and flavorful - but not too sweet. It should be appropriate for a hot afternoon on the course.
