Ready-to-wear brand Veronica Beard, founded by sisters-in-law Veronica Swanson Beard and Veronica Miele Beard, will open its first Atlanta store on Monday, November 22 in Buckhead Village (211 Buckhead Avenue Northeast). The company’s second stand-alone boutique in the Southeast will sell the luxury line’s cult classics like dickey jackets and scuba pants as well as dresses, jeans, outerwear, shoes, swimwear, and more.
Buckhead’s reputation as a dining and shopping destination made it an ideal location for a freestanding shop, says Swanson Beard. “We obviously open all of our stores based on where we know our customers live, and Atlanta has always been a good market for us based on past wholesale events we’ve done in the neighborhood.”

The brand’s exclusive brick-and-mortar offerings will include a selection of day and evening dresses, resort wear like bathing suits and cover-ups, an extensive denim collection, and a wall of dickey jackets. For the winter season, shoppers can expect luxe outerwear, printed velvet suits, shearling clog boots, and other statement pieces, explains Miele Beard.
“People are ready to dress up and travel and get out again, and we want our offerings to reflect that,” she continues.

The boutique’s decor reflects its classic-meets-modern aesthetic, with a vintage rattan sofa covered in Schumacher Zanzibar linen, marble coffee tables, and statement velvet tiger print curtains in the dressing room.
Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the store will also participate in the company’s quarterly philanthropic initiative #VBGIVESBACK, with special in-store shopping events and a percentage of proceeds benefiting local and national charitable causes.
