Five things to look for at Taste of Atlanta this weekend

The three-day Midtown local culinary festival, Taste of Atlanta, returns to Tech Square this weekend. Here's a quick clip of what to expect:

10th annual Taste of Atlanta leaves foodies full, satisfied and “a little tipsy”

Like so many addictive things in life, attendees at the 10th annual Taste of Atlanta festival on Sunday afternoon got their first taste for free. Albeit, it was a sandwich sample from QuikTrip. After we cook the meatballs, we simmer them in the marinara. If you can cool them down and let them sit over night in the sauce, it's best."

Sound Table grooves with win at Taste of Atlanta’s bartending competition

Apparently, the judges at Taste of Atlanta's 2nd annual Barcraft bartending competition Sunday concur with Atlanta magazine dining critic Bill Addison. In his review of the Old Fourth Ward's Sound Table in our October issue, Addison detailed the cool vibe between the dining and cocktails, noting "the close interplay between food and drink makes for a sexy tango."
